As we analyzed the drift market we realized that there is a lack of modern day drift vehicles. Over 75%
of drifters are using early model rear drive vehicles due to lack of cost effective platforms in the market today. We decided to contact Toyota because they had a rear wheel drive platform that no one is drifting, the Tacoma X-runner. Not only would this be the first modern day Toyota to drift in the US, but the first truck to drift as well. This vehicle will be built into a high performance drift machine with the goal of becoming a spectacle at drift shows across the nation.
