We approached Honda about the Civic Si project, as we knew they would be gearing up for a heavy promotional campaign to regain ground they had lost in the aftermarket industry over the past few years. This vehicle was going to be a last minute extravaganza, as we would receive the vehicle only 8 weeks before its first scheduled appearance at SEMA 2005. We gladly took on the challenge with the goal of developing the first 06’ Civic Si time attack vehicle. This project reached SEMA with all planned modifications except the widebody kit that we had designed. We decided that the widebody kit design will be "phase 2" of our project, giving the vehicle a new face which will yeild extended promotional impact.
